North Dakota State University

North Dakota State University is in an exciting time of transformation, emerging as a model of the contemporary land-grant institution. By emphasizing quality education, outstanding service, and leading-edge research, NDSU is a leader
among our peers.

At this university, students are prepared for both life and career through exceptional classroom studies, research opportunities, cultural activities, and social events. Our students work hard, but
the challenges of an education at NDSU reap many rewards.

The campus is clearly an institution of choice. NDSU’s enrollment is more than 13,000 students in our undergraduate and graduate programs. Our annual research expenditures surpass $100 million. NDSU’s new doctoral and master’s degree programs have given us the graduate program mix of a national land-grant university, and our graduate enrollment now surpasses 1,800 students.

Bison student athletes successfully compete in the ranks of NCAA Division I.
Our visitors marvel at the sense of enthusiasm that they see on the NDSU campus. NDSU’s mission statement says much about who we are.

It reads: “With energy and momentum, North Dakota State University addresses the needs and aspirations of people in a changing world by building on our
land-grant foundation.”
