We’re thrilled to celebrate Jenny Aguirre, a Leaders for Tomorrow Scholar at High Point University, whose remarkable journey from student to engineer has been featured in High Point University’s News Center.
Jenny, a 2025 graduate in Electrical Engineering with minors in Civic Responsibility and Social Innovation, has officially launched her career as a Diagnostic Engineer and Test Developer with Volvo Trucks North America. Throughout her time at HPU, Jenny embraced every opportunity to learn, lead, and connect. From landing her first internship at Volvo through a campus career fair to working closely with dedicated mentors like Dr. Claire McCullough, she demonstrated the power of pairing hard work with meaningful support.
As Jenny shares in the article:
“While academic performance is important, college is more about the relationships you build and the experiences you gain.”
Her success highlights the impact of the Leaders for Tomorrow Scholarship, opening doors to real-world experiences, personal growth, and purposeful careers.
