The Annexstad Family Foundation was established in 2000 to provide college scholarships to deserving and determined young people who have overcome challenging circumstances in their young lives. In the belief that higher education is the great equalizer and given the opportunity, such students possess to one day be leaders in their chosen fields.

25 Years of Impacting Lives
2000
On May 1, 2000, The Annexstad Family Foundation is established with the mission of helping bring the dream of higher education to deserving first-generation students.
2001
The first scholarship awarded to Amy Abrahamson at Gustavus Adolphus College in honor of Al's mother, Alice Annexstad.

2005
5th Anniversary
AFF’s first Scholar, Amy Abrahamson Miller, graduates from Gustavus Adolphus College.

2010
10th Anniversary
The Foundation begins the Hope & Inspiration Scholarship Program at St. Peter High School in St. Peter Minnesota.

2012
The Leaders for Tomorrow program is formally launched as a National Scholarship program.
