Studying abroad in Spain was a life-changing experience for Katheleen, expanding her appreciation for different cultures and strengthening her goal of becoming a better global citizen. She  reflects, “Studying abroad exposed me to a gorgeous culture that I would have never seen had I not stepped so far out of my comfort zone.”

Before this experience, she had rarely traveled, but immersing herself in Spain and even venturing to Tunisia opened her eyes to how diverse perspectives shape our understanding of the world. She set out to improve her Spanish skills and embrace new cultures, finding that six weeks abroad gave her both linguistic growth and unforgettable experiences.

A highlight of her journey was visiting  Mallorca, where she climbed the Cathedral of Mallorca, explored the Drach Caves, and visited the Rafa Nadal Museum.

Her advice? Take the leap! The friendships, cultural insights, and personal growth make it all worthwhile.
