Maja Klos-Gromadzka joined the Annexstad Family Foundation in 2022 and serves as the Regional Program Manager for the Foundation’s Southeast academic partners and scholarship programs. In her role, Maja works closely with university administrators and scholars to support student success, strengthen institutional partnerships, and advance the Foundation’s mission of expanding access to higher education for first-generation students. She also helps lead scholar engagement initiatives, including the Foundation’s annual student care packages and other relationship-building programs designed to support scholars throughout their college experience.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Maja worked in the Office of Student Financial Aid at the University of Georgia, where she supported students through a variety of financial aid and program management roles. As an alumna of the Leaders for Tomorrow Scholarship Program, Maja brings both professional experience and personal perspective to her work supporting scholars and campus partners.

Maja earned her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Georgia in 2016 and has called the state of Georgia home for the past 20 years. Outside of work, she enjoys supporting Georgia sports teams alongside her husband, Tyler. She spends time with their rescue dog, Olive, loves reading a good romance novel, and making memories with her three (soon to be four!) nephews.
