Frequently Asked Scholar Questions

You are here: Home / Frequently Asked Scholar Questions

I am a senior in high school, how do I apply for a Annexstad Family Foundation scholarship?

The Annexstad Family Foundation partners with institutions across the country who select recipients for our scholarship programs. In order to be considered for any AFF scholarship, please complete any required college or university admissions and financial aid documentation.

Why was I selected for an Annexstad Family Foundation scholarship?

You were selected by a partnering college or university because you have demonstrated the aptitude, grit and determination to become a leader in your chosen field.

What do I need to do to maintain my Annexstad Family Foundation scholarship?

As a minimum, in order to maintain your Annexstad Family Foundation scholarship you must:

  1. Be in good academic standing with your institution
  2. Be registered as a full-time student
  3. Be on track to graduate in 4 years (or five if your academic program requires a fifth year)

Additional eligibility criteria may be established at your institution.

I have a question about my financial aid, who do I talk to?

Our Program Administrator team can help you connect to your financial aid contact – they will best answer any aid specific questions! Email zackhaas@annexstadfamilyfoundation.org to connect with your financial aid contact!

Does the Annexstad Family Foundation have scholarships for graduate programs?

Currently, AFF only offers scholarships for those actively pursuing an undergraduate degree.

I am transferring schools next year.  Does my scholarship transfer?

As we work in partnership with colleges and universities to select our scholars, the scholarship remains at the institution if a student chooses to transfer due to academic or personal reasons.

I am struggling to get connected on campus, who can I talk to?

We’re here to help and would love to get you connected to the AFF community on your campus. Reach out Zack Haas (zackhaas@annexstadfamilyfoundation.org) on our Program Administrator team.

How do I get more involved with the Annexstad scholar community?

Follow AFF’s social channels, join our private LinkedIn group, set up a time to connect with one of our staff members.

I am an Annexstad alumni, how can I give back?

We are actively seeking alumni mentors for our current AFF scholars. Interested in participating as an alumni mentor? Email elinwahman@annexstadfamilyfoundation.org.

I’ve got an exciting update to share. How do I share the good news with the Annexstad Family Foundation?

Send an email to one of our AFF team members! We would love to share your update with our board of directors and the greater Annexstad scholar community.
