Seize the Awkward
Seize the Awkward is a national campaign from The Jed Foundation (JED) and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) in collaboration with the Ad Council. The campaign inspires and prepares teens and young adults, ages 16-24, to talk about their mental health with their friends and provides information and resources to understand the warning signs that indicate a friend is struggling, conversation starters, and tips for support and how to get help.

The Jed Foundation’s Mental Health Resource Center provides essential information about common emotional health issues and provides teens and young adults information on how they can support one another, overcome challenges, and make a successful transition to adulthood.
