Meet the Annexstad Scholars

You gave me access to amazing women who are empowered to change the world. I am thankful each day for the opportunity to do the same. It will be several years before I finish my medical education, but I am grateful for the sense of relief that your undergraduate Scholarship has given. I hope to provide a similar sense of relief to my future patients.

The Annexstad Family Foundation Scholarship has allowed me to attend college and pursue a rigorous degree program. If it weren’t for your generosity I wouldn’t be able to focus on my education. Instead, I would be constantly worrying about how to pay for all the expenses. Someday, I hope to take your inspiration and set up a scholarship fund of my own to support promising students.

The Annexstad Family Foundation Scholarship has given me the opportunity to attend the University of Notre Dame. They have given me significant financial peace. Knowing that this family cares enough about human beings to be willing to aid students in
bettering themselves is tremendous! It makes me proud to be able to share my story and pay it forward in helping future scholars believe in their dreams.

The Annexstad Family Foundation is the only reason that I was able to continue going to college. When I started college, I had gathered up enough money and loans to go to college for one semester. I truly had no idea how I was going to continue my education. Two months in, I was told that I had been given The Annexstad Family Foundation Scholarship – it was my dream come true! I cannot thank you enough for the opportunity that you have given me.

Whenever I get to the point where I feel like I can’t go on, I tell myself, ‘You’ve been through too much already, and there are too many people depending on you to quit now. You must go on.’ Words cannot explain what The Annexstad Family Foundation Scholarship has done for me. I can say this without a shadow of doubt: I would not be in the position I am today. The opportunities that the Annexstad Family have created for me are priceless. I am beyond grateful.

The Annexstad Family Foundation Scholarship has granted me the freedom to pursue my interests at a four-year out-of-state university without the pressure of student loans. Without you, I would have attended my hometown community college. Instead, I have an incredible support network that is ready to congratulate me when I cross the finish line.

I love learning, and being the first in my family to go to college was always a big motivating factor for me. To say I wouldn’t be where I am now without the Annexstads’ support is an understatement. The Annexstad family understands that in the world, talent is distributed evenly, but opportunity is not.
