Annexstad scholar, Aubriana Davis, is no stranger to life behind the camera. She is set to star in the second season of Netflix’s Raising Dion. Throughout her time at Spelman, Aubriana has dedicated herself to her coursework and her passion. A documentary filmmaking major with a minor in theatre, Aubriana has had the opportunity to learn both on and off campus.
At 18, she received her first movie credit in the film Richard Jewell directed by acclaimed director Clint Eastwood. As you wait for Raising Dion’s second season to be released, be sure see Aubriana’s latest work in Amazon Prime’s The Underground Railroad directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins whose works include Moonlight and If Beale Street Could Talk.
