They believe veterans are a vital national resource and that they too deserve to receive a higher education. Thus, five years ago, The Annexstad Family Foundation created a Veteran Student Scholarship with College of the Desert (COD) in Palm Desert, Calif.
Southern Methodist University
Empowering outstanding students to attend Southern Methodist University and succeed, regardless of background and financial means, is a major commitment at this Dallas university, one of the most recent schools to become a selected partner in the Leaders for Tomorrow program.
Gonzaga University
Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., came on board as a Leaders for Tomorrow partner with The Annexstad Family Foundation in 2015, expanding the Foundation’s reach to the Pacific Northwest.
Washington University in St. Louis
As a member of that group, Washington University in St. Louis provided an opportunity for the Foundation to support talented undergraduates in the Midwest who exhibit key characteristics of servant leadership.
Michigan Tech
Family Foundation. Working closely with school partners and administrators, AFF has awarded over 16 scholarships at MTU. In partnership, 100% of Leaders for Tomorrow scholars have graduated from Michigan Tech.
University of Mississippi
The University of Mississippi has been a key partner of the Annexstad Family Foundation since 2015. Working closely with the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, over 16 scholarships have been awarded in the past 7 years. In addition to the Leaders for Tomorrow scholarship programming, scholars have the opportunity to lead and grow in small classroom settings and student groups within SMBHC.
High Point University
A newer partnership for the Annexstad Family Foundation, High Point University has demonstrated commitment to developing Annexstad scholars into leaders. As the Premier Life Skills Institution, students learn how to be successful in and out of the classroom in preparation for careers and graduate programs.
Duke University
Duke has been a key partner in developing and growing the Leaders for Tomorrow scholarship program since its inception in 2012. With 20 scholarships awarded, Duke has committed to the Foundation’s mission of supporting students both in and out of the classroom. With Duke’s staff leading the way, Annexstad scholars have access to special wellness events, on-campus engagements, and advisory resources.
